Savoidakis S.A has always invested in the implementation of food safety and quality systems.

Prior to the certification of food safety and quality systems, the company had already put in place preventive approaches to food safety and quality.

It is a certified company for the Quality System implementation according to the EN ISO 9001 standard since 2004. Moreover, since 2005, it has been HACCP accredited for implementing systematic preventive approach to food safety throughout the production phases. Recently, it has been also certified to ΕΝ ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System.

On this purpose, the company has established a Quality Control Department supported by consultants and collaborators and namely, by the Food Microbiology Unit of the School of Medicine of the University of Crete and other accredited laboratories.
